Dr. Kerry Lisitsky, DACM, L.Ac., MS, OT

Headshot of Dr. Kerry Lisitsky

Kerry Lisitsky is a Doctor of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, earning her degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Her practice is focused on orthopedic acupuncture for the treatment of sports medicine injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions, with the goal of helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Dr. Lisitsky's clinical approach integrates the precision of orthopedic acupuncture with the diagnostic principles of traditional Chinese medicine, drawing on a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology to address both the underlying cause and the physical presentation of each patient's condition. She is skilled in motor point acupuncture and dry needling techniques, which she uses to help outdoor enthusiasts and active individuals recover from injury and return to the sports and activities they love. Her treatments are further enhanced by accessory techniques such as cupping, Gua Sha, and moxibustion, which support circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing.

Prior to her training in Chinese medicine, Dr. Lisitsky built a career spanning more than 30 years as a licensed Occupational Therapist and patient advocate, with experience in hospital-based acute care, sub-acute rehabilitation, oncology care, and private practice. Over the course of that career, she founded and grew an integrative wellness practice, and earned advanced credentials as an Expert-Level Trained Practitioner in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach and as a fully certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructor. This depth of functional and movement-based knowledge sets her apart, allowing her to view each patient's condition through the combined lens of structural alignment, movement mechanics, and traditional Chinese medicine.

Dr. Lisitsky holds two additional advanced trainings that further distinguish her practice. While completing her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine, she earned a Diploma in Chinese Medicine Dermatology under the world-renowned herbalist Mazin Al-Khafaji, a pursuit rooted in her own experience recovering from a complex skin condition. She has also completed Engaging Vitality Foundations with Dan Bensky in Seattle, WA, deepening her palpation skills in acupuncture through a practice that integrates traditional East Asian medicine with osteopathic concepts.

This combination of clinical disciplines informs every aspect of Dr. Lisitsky's practice today. She brings a thorough, evidence-informed approach to patient care, grounded in decades of clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings. Her goal is to provide each patient with an individualized, effective treatment plan that supports meaningful and lasting improvement in their health and quality of life.
